TeacherPro – Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the TeacherPro Chrome Extension or accessing the TeacherPro website (teacherpro.app), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the extension or website.

2. Description of Service

TeacherPro provides digital tools that enhance efficiency and workflow within the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). Features include grading automation, scheduling tools, feedback libraries, and other instructional utilities.

TeacherPro is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instructure, Inc., the makers of Canvas LMS.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent, guardian, or authorized educational institution to use TeacherPro.

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use TeacherPro only for lawful educational and instructional purposes and in accordance with your institution's Canvas data-handling policies.

You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the extension or website without written permission.
• Use the extension to collect or transmit unauthorized data.
• Attempt to circumvent licensing, subscription checks, or feature restrictions.
• Misrepresent your affiliation with TeacherPro or Canvas.

5. User Data and Privacy

TeacherPro does not collect or transmit personal or student data from Canvas. All Canvas-related data remains stored locally in your browser.

Limited data such as your name, email address, and license key may be processed by an external licensing or payment vendor solely to verify your subscription status. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

If you purchase a paid plan, license, or product through a third-party vendor (such as Lemon Squeezy, Paddle, or Gumroad):

• All billing, payment processing, and data handling are managed by that vendor under their respective Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• TeacherPro does not collect, process, or store payment details.
• Your subscription or license may be paused or revoked if a payment is canceled, refunded, or disputed.
• You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method with the vendor to retain premium access.
• Free and trial tiers may be offered at TeacherPro's discretion and are subject to change or termination at any time.

7. Licensing and Access Control

Some features of TeacherPro require activation through a license key or subscription verification. By using licensed features, you agree to:

• Maintain accurate registration details with the licensing provider.
• Not share or redistribute license keys publicly or with unauthorized users.
• Allow the extension to securely verify your license status through encrypted API requests.

Failure to comply may result in suspension of license access.

8. Intellectual Property

All original code, design, text, and branding associated with TeacherPro are the property of TeacherPro and its developer. You may not copy, sell, or modify the software except as permitted under applicable licenses.

Third-party trademarks, logos, and content (including Canvas references and images) remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

TeacherPro is provided "as is" and "as available."

No warranty is made that the extension or website will function without interruption or error. TeacherPro disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall TeacherPro or its developer be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the software, including but not limited to loss of grades, data, or productivity.

11. Termination

You may stop using TeacherPro at any time by uninstalling the extension or ceasing to use the website.

TeacherPro reserves the right to terminate or restrict access for misuse, violation of these Terms, or license abuse.

12. Updates and Modifications

TeacherPro may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the extension or website after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
